Alexi became CEO of COSBOA at a critical time for the small business sector. The pandemic was in full force and government policy across all jurisdictions was being rapidly developed to protect the economy. Alexi was a tenacious and pragmatic advocate for small businesses while CEO, working with an incredibly diverse set of stakeholders (including those with historically opposing views) and leveraging all mediums to ensure small business interests were as well represented as possible. In large part due to Alexi’s leadership, Xero was very enthusiastic to increase its support of COSBOA.
